Private In Home Consultations 

Dave customises all his programmes for each client as each family's situation is different, understanding each situation as a stand alone case is paramount to gaining an insight into each unique situation and modifying behaviours to the needs of each family.

Consultations begin with a Written Questionaire online, followed by a Phone conversation to establish what issues need to be addressed. A Private consultation is then arranged in your home to understand the issues and begin addressing them. Often after the initial consultation only a single follow up consultation is all that is required; in this case a report is completed then emailed to you along with the techniques to continue reinforcing the modifications and Dave will check in with you to ensure the commitment has been made. In other cases follow up appointments can be made to ensure the best outcome continues without any doubts. This can include consults or behavioural modification walks which include Dave and your dog, training walks are a definite must for time poor dog owners who seek to have the changes reinforced.

 Pricing : $220 for the initial Consultation and $120  for subsiquent follow up appointments 

NB. Dave comes to your house to train you to train you and your dog, it is a commitment, it is not  an easy way out by any means, so do ensure that you are ready and prepared to put the time in to modifying your issues with in the household, having the personal attention however does make learning the techniques easier as it is one on one and in your home. Its like learning French, yes Dave can teach your dog french, and then teach you french but unless you practice your french you wont be able to speak french in a few months...it is all about commitment to overcoming the barriers we have and continue with the skills you have been given.

Training Walks

Training walks are essential for those dogs which are problem walkers, Dave will modify the unwanted behaviour to allow your dog to become a pleasure to walk most dogs require only one training walk to counteract the unwanted behaviour be it pulling or high distraction, however dogs that have aggressive tendencies may require more sessions.

Each dog requires different techniques to improve their 'on lead' walking, a training walk consists of a Half hour of modification walking with Dave and another half hour with the owner where by all the techniques and training methods are learned and you become the trainer , after all, learned problems need ongoing maintenance.

 All dogs joining our Walkabouts and Dog Walking groups are required to do a training walk and assessment.

Walkabouts

Dave's Dog Walkabouts involves and hour of fun, socialisation and fitness for your dog through streets and park lands and dog friendly Beaches, Walkabouts involve a maximum of 4 dogs per handler and all the fun and frivolity is not just for the dogs as we send live footage of the dogs having their day out to the owners via Facebook, Twitter and Mobile Phone. 

Pricing: $75 per Dog and a $10 discount for all other dogs from the same household

 

 

Dog Walking

It is essential that dogs get as much exersise as possible it helps in a myriad of ways and allows for a much happier hound and home due to the fact that a lot of unwanted behaviour can be eliminated with well structured walks and on top of this dogs just love getting out and about and socializing with other dogs. Our walks have up to six dogs so your hound will learn great socialization skills and make plenty of friends.

Walks take place on  Tuesdays and Thursdays

Pricing:  $25 per Dog and a $5 discount for dogs for all other dogs from the same household
