Jaice Jackson  originally from South Australia has always been a dog lover, being the kid in the dog shirt, with the dog birthday cakes and continually making friends with the neighbourhood dogs.

She came to the Centre to build on her knowledge of DockDogs to take it to SA and ....well we snapped her up and she has been full time with us for the past 2 months.

You can see here still hanging around the Centre even on her time off training her champion Belgian Malinois Tate in DockDogs.

tony dogsTony Mulvihill has had more that 45 years experience handling and managing livestock with working dogs and horses. mitchMitchell Harvey is our maintained man, dog play thing and allrounder that we just can't do without. Mitchell Came to us 4 years ago as a Volunteer through Job Prospects and has since gone on to Graduate in Animal Care Cert II and is currently achieving his Cert III in Animal Care. He is a Dog Lover from childhood taking in a rescue dog that he absolutely loves. He is the smiling face in the background that ensures our Centre is up to scratch.

matt2Matt Harpley turned up one day with a little fat kelpie pup...it was a few years back and he realised he needed to give this little terrorist a job, well it didn't take long till we gave this qualified school teacher a job when it became apparent that he really did 'get' sheep herding and just wanted to share the journey he and his now athletic kelpie,'Tanna', went on. Incidentally, she is now one of our high-performance dogs and Matt and her regularly do shows across the nation with Ducks and Sheep in tow to give audiences the real experience of the outback. Matt runs our 3 times weekly Sheep Herding Drop In sessions and the Level 1 Herding Courses as well as the awesome 'OutBack Adventures' up on our Queensland Station.

pietaPieta Leggett found her passion for dogs early on and not only has a DockDog Champion with her Staffy girl  Sprocket but along with Jett she adopted one of our Rescue Dogs Jake the Kelpie who she can be seen regularly sheep herding with of an evening at the Centre. Pieta is our Doggie School Bus Driver and collects dogs from around Sydney for their DayTrip adventures to the Farmer Dave Dog Centre. She has a host of Qualifications including Cert IV in Animal Training and Behaviour.
jennyJenny Bellamy came along one day to find out how she could improve her German Shepherd Dog , Coco's Behaviour and Social Skills....she hasn't left! Coco is now a great dog with great social skills and Jenny well...she is part of the furniture helping out with events, shows, administration and dog care. She absolutely adores our guests and is one of the first smiling faces our doggie parents meet...and she loves nothing better on a hot day than to be the dog wash lady.
tim2Tim Baker is the man that makes this thing happen, a web genius from a land before the internet, he often gets calls in the middle of the night along the lines of 1800 TIM HELP!! Being a passionate Schnauzer lover with two little tykes of his own, Tim loves the involvement with the Farmer Dave Dog Centre albeit from behind a keyboard making sure our website works according to plan.

Matilda, definitely the cutest member of the Centre's family of characters, Matilda came to us from a working station near Cowra in NSW and in her first week starred in photoshoots and TV commercials as well as endeared herself to adoring crowds at both Olympic park for the Better Homes and Gardens Show and Parramatta Park for Doggiewood. Since then Matilda has made the Centre her own domain where she heads up our Crew of Behaviour Teaching Dogs and is the first dog that teaches all new dogs the rules of how the Centre works in their Assessment , Training and Orientation Session prior to admission to DayCare or Lodging.

aliceAlice the rare Purebred White Dingo, came to us like many dingos who end up in the city from WIRES at a few months of age when her carers realised Dingos are very different to domestic dogs. We have worked a lot with her and she is now the most famous member of our Crew, wowing crowds with her gentle nature and incredible insight into the native dog of our nation. Often used with dogs seeking admission to the Centre who are having problems communicating with other canines Alice has in innate ability to unlock their communication skills and give them a great start on their socialisation journey.
